Veterinary Editorial Policy.

Our health content should help pet owners make safer decisions without pretending that an article can diagnose or treat an individual animal.

Who writes our veterinary content

Articles credited to the Paw Sisters Veterinary Team are prepared under the clinic's editorial responsibility. A team byline is an organization attribution, not a claim that every veterinarian personally reviewed that page. When an individual clinician authors an article, the page can link to that clinician's profile.

How medical review is shown

We display a named medical reviewer and review date only after that veterinarian has reviewed the article. Authorship, editing and medical review are separate roles. If no reviewer is shown, readers should not assume a clinical review has taken place.

How we select sources

Medical claims should rely on current clinical guidelines, veterinary consensus statements, government requirements, peer-reviewed research and established veterinary manuals. We prefer the primary source over a commercial summary. Important claims are linked close to the statement they support.

Local prices, laws, travel rules and opening details can change. We date these checks, link to an official or first-party source where possible, and tell readers to confirm mutable details before acting.

Updates and corrections

A visible updated date means the article was materially checked or changed on that date. We update content when clinical guidance, UAE requirements, clinic services or material facts change. Corrections should replace the inaccurate statement, preserve the page address where practical and update the modification date.

Medical limits

Website content is general education. It cannot examine a pet, interpret a complete history or replace a veterinarian. Emergency guidance is written to support faster care, not home diagnosis. Treatment and medicine decisions belong to the veterinarian responsible for the individual animal.

Report a concern

If you find a factual error, an outdated link or wording that could be unsafe, email office@pawsisters.ae with the page address and the issue. We will review the concern against the best available source and correct the page when needed.
